About This Event
Some stories stay with us long after the last page. 🕯️📖🌼
This Día de los Muertos, join Reading Rhythms LA for an evening of books, remembrance, and connection as we celebrate the stories, authors, and people who live on through us.
📅 Monday, November 2 | 6–9 PM
📍 Venice Beach Wines | 529 Rose Ave, Venice, CA 90291
WHAT TO EXPECT
🌼 A Community Book Ofrenda
We're creating a literary ofrenda honoring the authors, books, stories, and loved ones who've left their mark on us. Bring a favorite book, photo, quote, or handwritten note to contribute to our collective altar. Whether it's a story that changed your life or one that reminds you of someone you love, there's a place for it here.
💀 Dress for the Occasion
Celebrate Día de los Muertos with festive attire, florals, or calavera-inspired looks. We're also working on bringing a face painter to the party. Stay tuned!
📖 Read, Sip & Connect
Enjoy our signature Reading Rhythms experience: uninterrupted reading time, thoughtful conversations, and new connections. Bring whatever book you're currently reading!
🍷 Food, Wine & a Little Something Extra
Our hosts at Venice Beach Wines will be offering special Día de los Muertos–themed food selections for the evening. Come hungry, grab a glass, and settle in for a night of stories and good company.
Come solo. Bring a friend. Leave with a few new ones.
