The leaves are changing, sweaters have returned, and there's a crispness in the morning air. October is inviting us back beneath the trees for another chapter of Books & Blankets.
Bring your current read, your favorite blanket, and an extra layer of warmth for the brisk chill of an October morning. Sweaters and scarves are very much REQUIRED
Hot tea will be waiting for you. ☕ First come & First service
Brown-bag your favorite morning munchies and noshes, then cozy up with us beneath the trees for reading, conversation, book recommendations, and community, surrounded by nature with the East River breeze just beyond us.
Come solo, bring a friend, or meet a new one along the way. This is our one park gathering this October, so come spend a little autumn morning with us.

Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with.
In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with our love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather amongst all of the people who want to be in that very same room.
