About This Event
"You’re invited!
Celebrate the start of patio season with a good book and a new connection. We're bringing readers back to the hidden patio at Queen Mother Cafe - a unique city experience at one of Toronto's legacy cafes.
Our reading party theme will be a celebration of Asian Heritage Month. You're encouraged to bring a book by an author of Asian heritage, and enjoy some of the city's best Lao/Thai dishes offered on the Queen Mother menu.
In case you're new here:
Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with.
Our favourite conversations happen in the Reading Rhythms mobile app. Join us there → https://readingrhythms.app

“That first event I attended was really cool for me because I'd been wanting to just read more often and making a plan to just go somewhere and read really kept me accountable to that.”
