Gathered Around Books
A Reading Rhythms Queens Rooftop Evening
The season is getting colder, the layers a little warmer, and we're heading back to the rooftop at Greats of Craft for another evening gathered around books.
Nestled around the rooftop tables and chairs, we'll read beneath the backdrop of the New York City skyline, with the glow of the big virtual fireplace and the familiar sound of a crackling fire bringing a little warmth to a November night.
Pull out the sweaters and scarves, bring the book you're currently enjoying, and cozy up with our community of passionate readers and socializers.
Read for a while. Lookup and join the conversation. Discover what someone across the table is reading, exchange recommendations, grab a drinks and dinner nibbles, make a new connection or two. That's part of what we love about Reading Rhythms Queens—the books bring us together, but the conversations keep us gathered.

Come solo or bring a friend. Bundle up, bring your book, and gather around with us. 🔥📖
Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with.
In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with our love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather amongst all of the people who want to be in that very same room.
Our favorite conversations happen in the Reading Rhythms mobile app. Join us there → https://readingrhythms.app _________________________________________________________________________________

What Readers Say
"I leave every single Reading Rhythms party feeling like skipping all the way home even if the work day preceding it makes me tired or kind of cranky. I love seeing the stars in all your eyes as you depart as well, gives me goosebumps!"
— Regular Attendee
"I'm 88 years old and moved to Hudson Yards to be closer to my grandkids. I think this is a wonderful idea."
— Judith
"We're embedded with everyday superficial conversations, the kind of small talk that is essentially bland, useless and tasteless. RR gives people the chance to connect similar people together in the same room."
— Community Member
"That first event I attended was really cool for me because I'd been wanting to just read more often and making a plan to just go somewhere and read really kept me accountable to that."
— NYC Newcomer
"I'm so glad I found Reading Rhythms! I had no idea how much I needed and wanted to connect with other readers. Last night was another exceptional experience, full of connection, laughter, and community."
— Stacee
"Event space was great. Host brought great energy. Really enjoyed the quiet time reading and the conversation in the middle. Did get slightly distracted by the music (but only because it was good and I was Shazam'ing it)."
— Bradley Layton
"It reminded me why I attend Reading Rhythms in the first place. Not only do they care about the readers, but they also champion the small businesses that helped shape this community in the first place."
— Andres
"I really enjoyed the choice to read by the sea, the atmosphere, and the connection that was created with the other readers."
— Bernardina (Amalfi Coast)
