UWS Chapter: Audiobooks & Crafts!

"You’re invited! Come join us on the UWS for our chapter's inaugeral Audiobooks and Crafts event! What better way to keep our hands busy while we listen to our books than with art! You are encouraged to bring your own knitting, crocheting, embroidery, origami, coloring, sketching, journal decorating, or anything else your heart desires! Our venue hosts at Hex & Co. simply ask we keep paint, glue, or anything particularly messy contained or to a minimum. Supplies will also be on hand for friendship bracelet making if you don't have a craft at home to bring! ​--- Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with. ​In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with our love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather amongst all of the people who want to be in that very same room.
